Mounties Lead 2-1

by Aidan Rai

Game 4 of the finals begins tonight in a tightly contested series thus far.  Each of the first three games have been decided by three goals or less as the Mounties have edged ahead by one game. The series has become increasingly more defensively driven as it has drawn on.

Both offenses took flight in game 1 with the Raiders falling to the Mounties by a score of 15-12.  Game 2 ended in overtime heroics from the Mountaineers' Myles Moffat who made the final score 8-7.  The Raiders then rallied in game three as they held the Mounties to only 4 goals in a 6-4 triumph.

With game 4 looming, will defense be the tale of the day once again, or will the teams galvanize their offenses? Find out tonight at 8:00pm at Brentwood Sportsplex.
